Norwegian Air Sees Passenger Growth Amidst Profit Revision

Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (GB:0FGH) has released an update.

Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA reports an 11% increase in passengers for Norwegian and a 6% rise for Widerøe in June, with a total of 2,592,482 passengers for the group. However, the company has revised its 2024 profit outlook downwards due to factors including softer traffic demand and higher pilot wages. The airline also launched 50 new routes this year, highlighting the popularity of Northern Norway destinations.
