Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA reported a solid operating profit (EBIT) of NOK 593 million for the second quarter of 2024, fueled by robust passenger growth and a strong operational performance, including being named Europe’s most punctual airline. Despite a slight downturn in demand affecting ticket prices, the company saw a significant increase in passengers, with 7.3 million flying with its airlines. The Group is also expanding its winter offerings with 27 new routes and anticipates a fleet growth for the upcoming summer season.
