Northern Shield Resources Inc. reports promising developments in its exploration of the Root & Cellar Property in Newfoundland, where studies have led to a new understanding of three distinct mineralization phases, including a significant epithermal gold and porphyry copper system. The discovery of a ‘Drop Zone signature’ in the Conquest Zone, characterized by high silver, tellurium, and gold grades, suggests an extensive mineralizing system. The company anticipates starting channel sampling and trenching at the Conquest Zone soon, with a focus on stockwork veins that have shown visible gold.
