Norske Skog ASA has announced a delay in the start of containerboard production at its Golbey plant in France, now expected in the first quarter of 2025, with a revised investment of EUR 320 million. The company is currently commissioning various parts of the plant and emphasizes the project’s importance, with lessons learned to be applied to a future BCTMP project at Saugbrugs. The final investment decision for the Saugbrugs project is anticipated in the first half of 2025.
