Norsk Hydro Asa will soon hold a 50/50 ownership stake in Vianode, a synthetic graphite manufacturer for battery production, after Altor exercised its put option. The transaction, which is pending competition clearance, aligns with Hydro’s strategy to focus on its Batteries unit and investment execution.
