The latest announcement is out from Nomura Real Estate Master ( (JP:3462) ).
Nomura Real Estate Master Fund has arranged new debt financing totaling ¥10.8 billion to refinance existing term loans maturing on May 26, 2026. The package combines a ¥9.8 billion multi-tranche term loan with maturities up to 2034 and a ¥1 billion one-year commitment line, all unsecured and sourced from leading Japanese banks and financial institutions.
A portion of the new funding includes sustainability-linked loans from The Norinchukin Bank, with interest rates tied to the fund’s progress on greenhouse gas emissions targets, underscoring its continued integration of ESG considerations into capital strategy. By extending debt maturities and securing flexible credit lines, NMF is smoothing its refinancing risk profile and reinforcing balance-sheet stability for unitholders in a rising-rate and tightening credit environment.
