Indigo Exploration ( (TSE:NOBL) ) has shared an announcement.
Noble Plains Uranium has completed an agreement with Pathfinder Mines, a subsidiary of Ur-Energy, to acquire a historical drill database covering 1,211 holes on its Shirley Central uranium project in Wyoming’s past-producing Shirley Basin, a dataset the company estimates would cost more than US$6 million and several years of work to replicate. The newly obtained lithologic and geophysical data will be used immediately to refine geological models, guide a 22-hole drill program already permitted, and support work toward a NI 43-101-compliant resource estimate, while the transaction also brings Ur-Energy in as a significant shareholder and further entrenches Noble Plains in a strategic position between Ur-Energy’s under-construction ISR project and adjacent ground held by Uranium Energy Corp. Under the deal, Noble Plains will pay US$125,000 in cash and issue C$650,000 in shares, with additional contingent payments tied to any future mineral resource or reserve report, a structure that aligns incentives as the company seeks to accelerate resource definition and enhance its standing among leading U.S. uranium developers.
