Nouveau Monde Graphite Inc. (NMG) has received shareholder approval for US$37.5 million in private placements from strategic partner Mitsui and investor Pallinghurst, set to close on May 2, 2024. These investments, made in exchange for the cancellation of previous convertible notes, were deemed fair to shareholders, excluding Mitsui and Pallinghurst, by an independent valuation. The approval, which includes the creation of new control persons, demonstrated overwhelming shareholder support with more than 99% votes in favor.
