NIPPON GAS Reports Q1 Downturn, Optimistic FY Forecast

NIPPON GAS CO., LTD. reported a decline in financial performance for the first quarter ending June 30th, 2024, with net sales, operating income, and profit attributable to owners decreasing by 3.2%, 44.0%, and 45.4% respectively, compared to the same period last year. Despite this downturn, the company has forecasted an increase in full-year net sales and operating income for the fiscal year ending March 31st, 2025. No significant changes in accounting policies or consolidation scope were reported, and the company maintains its dividend forecast with no revisions.
