Nippon Electric Glass Enhances Shareholder Value

Nippon Electric Glass Co (JP:5214) has released an update.

Nippon Electric Glass Co. has announced plans to repurchase up to 7 million of its own shares, constituting 8.08% of its outstanding shares, with a budget of 20 billion yen, to improve capital efficiency and increase shareholder value. Additionally, the company will cancel 10 million treasury shares on January 31, 2025, to further enhance shareholder returns. This decision is part of the company’s medium-term financial strategy outlined in ‘EGP2028’.
