Nippon Building ( (JP:8951) ) has provided an announcement.

Nippon Building Fund Inc. has arranged a new ¥10 billion long-term loan from Development Bank of Japan Inc. at a floating rate currently indicated at 1.369%, with the borrowing scheduled for April 8, 2026 and a lump-sum repayment due on April 7, 2034. The proceeds will be used to refinance an existing long-term borrowing maturing in April 2026, effectively shifting ¥10 billion from fixed- to floating-rate debt while keeping total interest-bearing liabilities unchanged at ¥647 billion, with the company stating that the move does not alter its disclosed investment risk profile.

Following this transaction, NBF’s short-term borrowings remain at ¥6 billion and bonds at ¥15 billion, while long-term floating-rate borrowings increase to ¥139.1 billion and fixed-rate borrowings decrease to ¥486.9 billion. The refinancing underscores NBF’s active liability management and interest-rate portfolio adjustment, which may influence its interest cost exposure over time but is positioned as a routine funding measure without new material risk disclosures for investors.
