Nine Entertainment Co. Holdings Limited ( (AU:NEC) ) has shared an update.
Nine Entertainment Co. has completed its acquisition of 100% of digital outdoor media operator QMS Media from Quadrant Private Equity, integrating premium billboards, street furniture and other outdoor assets into its existing streaming, broadcast and publishing operations. The deal is positioned as a core step in Nine’s digital transformation, with QMS expected to deliver $92 million of EBITDA in FY26 and help lift the contribution of digital growth assets to more than 60% of group revenue by FY27, while Nine also reshapes its portfolio through the planned sale of Nine Radio and a shift to an affiliate model for its Northern NSW and Darwin TV interests, subject to approvals.
Nine plans to align QMS’s go-to-market strategy with its broader sales offering, promising advertisers a more data-driven, cross-platform reach that spans online, broadcast and outdoor channels. The company will separately disclose performance metrics for its new Nine Outdoor segment and continues to emphasise cost synergies and mid single-digit earnings per share accretion, underscoring management’s focus on margin expansion and strengthening its competitive position in Australia’s converging media and advertising market.
The most recent analyst rating on (AU:NEC) stock is a Hold with a A$0.95 price target. To see the full list of analyst forecasts on Nine Entertainment Co. Holdings Limited stock, see the AU:NEC Stock Forecast page.
