Nickel Industries Ltd. has gained support from the Central Sulawesi Natural Resources Conservation Agency to establish a 197-hectare biodiversity conservation area within its Hengjaya Mine concession in Indonesia. This initiative aligns with various Indonesian Government conservation efforts and aims to incorporate sustainable mining practices that protect and enhance local biodiversity. The conservation area is intended to serve as a hub for education, research, tourism, and genetic conservation, benefiting the local community and environment.
