Nextdc Limited ( (AU:NXT) ) just unveiled an update.
NEXTDC has launched a A$1.0 billion wholesale offer of subordinated hybrid securities, backed by a matching binding commitment from Canadian investor La Caisse, to fund its growth strategy and data centre development pipeline through to FY29. The hybrids, which are deeply subordinated, long-dated and sit outside senior debt covenants, are designed to provide flexible, tax-efficient capital with deferrable coupons and will lift the company’s pro-forma liquidity to about A$5.2 billion as at 31 December 2025.
The transaction underscores institutional confidence in NEXTDC’s asset base and construction program, and is positioned as a first step toward a potential long-term partnership with La Caisse. NEXTDC also reiterated its intention to issue additional subordinated wholesale notes after the hybrid offer, further diversifying its funding sources and strengthening its long-term capital structure while maintaining clear subordination between new instruments and existing debt.
The most recent analyst rating on (AU:NXT) stock is a Hold with a A$11.50 price target. To see the full list of analyst forecasts on Nextdc Limited stock, see the AU:NXT Stock Forecast page.
