NexGold Mining Corp. has signed a pivotal Relationship Agreement with Wabigoon Lake Ojibway Nation to advance the Goliath Gold Complex, marking a significant step towards Reconciliation in Canada’s mining sector. The deal includes measures to recognize the Nation’s rights, collaborative frameworks, and economic opportunities through education and employment. It replaces a 2011 MOU and promises enhanced First Nation participation in the project’s future.
