Newtopia Inc., a company specializing in tech-enabled habit change to combat chronic disease, has announced a delay in its annual financial report due to additional time required by its auditors to complete audit procedures. The delay is expected to lead to a ‘failure-to-file’ cease trade order in Canada and a trading suspension on the TSX Venture Exchange. Newtopia is working closely with its auditors to resolve the issue by May 15, 2024, and will provide updates as necessary.
