NewRiver REIT has completed the sale of Cuckoo Bridge Retail Park in Dumfries to an institutional investor for £26.5 million, reflecting a net initial yield of 6.9% and in line with previous guidance. The disposal forms part of a wider capital recycling programme that has seen £110 million of assets sold in the current financial year at book value.

Proceeds from the sale lift NewRiver’s cash holdings to more than £100 million and bring group loan-to-value close to its medium-term target of below 40%, strengthening the balance sheet and financial flexibility.
