NewRiver REIT ( (GB:NRR) ) has issued an announcement.
NewRiver REIT has completed the sale of Cuckoo Bridge Retail Park in Dumfries to an institutional investor for £26.5 million, reflecting a net initial yield of 6.9% and in line with previous guidance. The disposal forms part of a wider capital recycling programme that has seen £110 million of assets sold in the current financial year at book value.
Proceeds from the sale lift NewRiver’s cash holdings to more than £100 million and bring group loan-to-value close to its medium-term target of below 40%, strengthening the balance sheet and financial flexibility. The transaction also crystallises value created through active asset management since 2016, including a 15-year CPI-linked Sainsbury’s lease and reconfigured units for Food Warehouse and Next, underlining ongoing institutional demand for well-let UK retail parks.
The most recent analyst rating on (GB:NRR) stock is a Buy with a £86.00 price target. To see the full list of analyst forecasts on NewRiver REIT stock, see the GB:NRR Stock Forecast page.
