NewRiver REIT ( (GB:NRR) ) has issued an update.
NewRiver REIT has secured a new £240 million unsecured debt package, split between a £120 million term facility and a £120 million revolving credit facility, enabling the company to move back to a fully unsecured balance sheet and extend its debt maturity profile. The term facility, which runs to April 2030 with extension options, will be drawn closer to January 2027 to refinance a legacy £140 million secured mall loan, allowing NewRiver to benefit from its low 3.5% coupon and deliver interest savings that feed directly through to shareholders via its dividend policy.
The enlarged revolving credit facility, now £120 million and maturing in April 2031, carries a lower margin than the previous line and boosts available liquidity, underlining lender confidence in NewRiver’s investment-grade rating and retail portfolio. With over £200 million of cash and liquidity and all four existing banks increasing commitments, the REIT says it can now prioritise its growth agenda and approach the refinancing of its £300 million unsecured corporate bond maturing in 2028 from a position of strength.
The most recent analyst rating on (GB:NRR) stock is a Buy with a £98.00 price target. To see the full list of analyst forecasts on NewRiver REIT stock, see the GB:NRR Stock Forecast page.
