NewRiver REIT (GB:NRR) has released an update.
NewRiver REIT PLC has agreed to acquire Capital & Regional PLC through a cash and share offer, valuing Capital & Regional at approximately £147 million, a premium over recent share prices. Capital & Regional shareholders will receive both cash and NewRiver shares, amounting to about 21% of the combined entity, with arrangements for dividends payments detailed in the terms. The combination aims to create a robust retail portfolio with a strategic mix of assets, poised for future growth and value addition.
