Capital & Regional (GB:CAL) has released an update.
NewRiver REIT plc has proposed a cash and share offer to acquire Capital & Regional plc, which could total approximately £147 million and value Capital & Regional shares at a premium of up to 21%. The tentative deal hinges on various conditions and there’s no certainty of a firm offer yet, with further announcements expected. Shareholders of Capital & Regional would receive both cash and shares in NewRiver, with additional dividends being discussed.
