Newport Exploration Ltd has declared a $0.005 per share second quarterly cash dividend for 2024, with shareholders of record on May 27, 2024, set to receive payments on June 11, 2024. The dividend, confirmed by the Board, is an ‘eligible dividend’ for Canadian tax purposes. The company, which has a 2.5% Gross Overriding Royalty in the Cooper Basin operated by Beach Energy, maintains a robust financial position with no debt and expects further royalty income prior to the dividend payout.
