Newcore Gold Ltd. has announced a promising Preliminary Economic Assessment for its Enchi Gold Project in Ghana, highlighting strong project economics and robust production prospects. The assessment projects substantial pre-tax and after-tax net present values and internal rates of return, based on gold prices of $1,850/oz and $2,350/oz, with low estimated initial capital costs and a short payback period. The Enchi Gold Project is set to be a low capital intensity, open pit, heap leach operation with an estimated life of mine average annual gold production of 121,839 ounces.
