New Media Lab Limited reported that its total revenue for 2025 fell to HK$189.8 million from HK$207.2 million a year earlier, as weak market sentiment and cautious advertiser spending weighed on results. Digital advertising remained the dominant revenue driver, contributing 96.6% of turnover, while net profit eased slightly to HK$12.7 million and basic earnings per share dipped to HK2.1 cents.
Despite the softer topline and profit, the board maintained the final dividend at HK2.5 cents per share, keeping full-year payouts unchanged at HK4.17 cents. Management highlighted intensifying competition in Hong Kong’s digital media and advertising market, driven by advertisers’ shift to social media, search and video platforms and rising demand for immersive, experiential campaigns, underscoring both the challenges and opportunities for the Group’s future positioning.
