Medical Facilities Corporation has announced that its Black Hills Surgical Hospital will expand services to include heart and vascular care with the opening of the Black Hills Heart & Vascular Institute in fall 2024. The institute aims to address the increasing demand for specialized care in Rapid City and nearby areas, coming off BHSH’s recent accolades in orthopedic surgery. The new facility will feature a range of services, including a state-of-the-art cardiac catheterization laboratory.
