Stranger Holdings ( (GB:NEO) ) has issued an announcement.
Neo Energy Metals has overhauled its board as it enters a development-heavy phase for its South African uranium and gold projects, appointing former Sibanye-Stillwater chief executive and current World Gold Council chair Neal Froneman as independent non-executive chairman. He is joined by new independent non-executive directors Sajjad Sabur, John Wallington and Johan Reeder, while six existing directors, including executive chairman Jason Brewer, have stepped down, consolidating control around the recently installed South African CEO and CFO.
The reshaped board brings deep operational, financial and governance expertise from major global miners and investors, strengthening Neo Energy’s credentials as it advances the acquisition of the New Beisa project from Sibanye-Stillwater and seeks a mining right for the Henkries project ahead of financing and construction. Management argues that the calibre of new board members underlines confidence in the quality and potential scale of its uranium assets, with the governance reset likely to be closely watched by investors as the company positions itself to become a leading African uranium producer with meaningful gold by-product credits.
