Navigator Holdings (NVGS) has released an update.
Navigator Holdings Ltd., known for operating the world’s largest fleet of handysize liquefied gas carriers, has announced a strategic co-investment in Ten08 Energy LLC to develop a clean ammonia production facility on the Texas Gulf Coast. The $2.5 million investment, which may increase up to $100 million at the project’s Final Investment Decision, aims to produce competitively priced clean ammonia for decarbonizing power, shipping, fertilizer, and chemical industries. With operations expected to start in late 2029 or early 2030, Navigator’s move strengthens its position in clean energy transition and ammonia transportation.
