Navigator and Bumi Armada Partner with Uniper for CO2 Project

Navigator Holdings (NVGS) has released an update.

Navigator Holdings Ltd., together with Bumi Armada Berhad, has announced a memorandum of understanding with Uniper to conduct a joint study aimed at developing a floating liquid CO2 storage and carrier solution for the UK’s decarbonization efforts. This collaboration seeks to create a comprehensive CO2 value chain to transport and store CO2 emissions from Uniper’s Grain Carbon Capture project, with the goal of reducing environmental impact and supporting the UK’s target to decarbonize the power sector by 2030. The initiative highlights Navigator’s commitment to sustainability and Bumi Armada’s goal of achieving net-zero emissions by 2050.
