NatWest Group ( (GB:NWG) ) just unveiled an update.

NatWest Group shareholders overwhelmingly backed the board and management at the bank’s annual general meeting in Edinburgh, approving the 2025 report and accounts, the directors’ remuneration report and a final dividend of 23 pence per ordinary share. Investors also re-elected or elected all proposed directors, signalling broad support for the current leadership and governance structure.

Resolutions to appoint PricewaterhouseCoopers as auditor and authorise the group audit committee to set its fees were comfortably passed, alongside renewed authorities for the board to allot shares and equity securities, including on a non pre-emptive basis and in relation to equity convertible notes. Shareholders further approved the company’s ability to call general meetings on 14 days’ notice and renewed powers for on- and off-market share repurchases, giving NatWest additional flexibility over capital management and future corporate actions.
