Native Mineral Resources Holdings Ltd. ( (AU:NMR) ) just unveiled an announcement.
Native Mineral Resources has reported the first gold output since restarting mining at its Blackjack operation in Queensland, smelting five doré bars totalling about 315 ounces from freshly mined Blackjack South Stage 2a ore. The company says the new material is beginning to replace lower-grade Far Fanning stockpiles, with plant recoveries holding at 94% to 96%, low tailings grades, and mill utilisation around 84%, underpinning expectations for improved grades and stronger gold production through 2026.
Cumulative April doré production has reached roughly 530 ounces, taking total output since the plant’s recommissioning in mid-2025 to about 8,272 ounces, with more than 2,387 ounces of gold outturn confirmed so far. In parallel, NMR has begun site establishment and mobilised a mining fleet at the Podosky deposit, 75km east of Blackjack, keeping first ore haulage to the Blackjack ROM pad on track for late April and positioning the business to run two active ore sources for greater feed flexibility and blend optimisation.
