Native Mineral Resources reported strong diamond drilling results from the North Central pit at its Blackjack mine in Queensland, with assays including 5.45 metres at 14.23 grams per tonne gold and a peak interval of 0.62 metres at 98.93 grams per tonne, the highest value yet recorded at the project. The three-hole program is providing critical geotechnical, density and petrographic data to validate and refine previous reverse circulation results and support ongoing mine design.
Mining has restarted at the Blackjack South and North Central pits, while site establishment at the nearby Podosky deposit is set to feed additional ore to the Blackjack mill over the coming months. With ore supply from both Blackjack and Podosky expected to fully utilise the processing plant in the short to medium term, the company is advancing parallel work on plant improvements, tailings storage, water infrastructure and project development across its Charters Towers assets.
