National Grid plc has announced the issuance of 74,024,449 new ordinary shares as part of its Scrip Dividend Scheme for the 2023/24 final dividend, with trading set to begin on July 19, 2024. These shares will be available to existing shareholders instead of the cash dividend and will be traded on the London Stock Exchange, ranking equally with current ordinary shares. The issuance includes both ordinary shares and American Depositary Receipts (ADRs) for US holders, with specific terms available on the company’s website and through Equiniti.
