William A. Peery announced his retirement from the boards of National Bankshares, Inc. and its subsidiary, The National Bank of Blacksburg, effective July 8, 2024, to focus on family and personal interests, not due to any disagreements. Subsequently, the Company’s Board of Directors voted to reduce its number of directors from 14 to 13, amending the Company’s Bylaws accordingly.
