Multiconsult ASA ( (DE:3MC) ) just unveiled an announcement.
Multiconsult ASA has secured a decisive legal victory in a dispute linked to the Sotra Link project, with the Oslo District Court ruling in favour of its subsidiary Multiconsult Norge AS. The court ordered Sotra Link Construction JV ANS to pay around NOK 80.8 million for unpaid services, NOK 84.2 million in damages, and NOK 31.4 million in legal and internal costs, all with statutory interest, which is expected to boost Multiconsult’s financial results.
The ruling strengthens Multiconsult’s financial position and underscores the company’s ability to enforce its contractual rights on complex infrastructure engagements. While the judgment may still be appealed within the statutory deadline, the outcome reduces uncertainty around the contested receivables and could positively influence stakeholder confidence in Multiconsult’s project governance and risk management on large construction mandates.
