The latest announcement is out from MS&AD Insurance Group Holdings ( (JP:8725) ).

MS&AD Insurance Group Holdings reported consolidated ordinary income of ¥7.65 trillion and ordinary profit of ¥1.12 trillion for the year ended March 31, 2026, with net income attributable to shareholders rising to ¥787.3 billion. Total assets increased to ¥28.64 trillion and net assets to ¥4.83 trillion, while cash flows from operating activities strengthened and the group added MSIG Specialty Insurance America, Inc. to its consolidation scope and removed MSIG Insurance Europe AG.

The insurer raised its annual dividend to ¥160 per share for fiscal 2025–26, including both ordinary and special components, and plans a further increase to ¥170 in the next fiscal year, maintaining a payout ratio above 30%. MS&AD will adopt International Financial Reporting Standards for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2027, and has issued IFRS-based consolidated earnings forecasts, a move that may improve global comparability of its results and support its positioning among international institutional investors.
