Mountview Estates PLC successfully passed the majority of standard resolutions in its latest Annual General Meeting, with all ten initial proposals receiving approval from shareholders. However, the company faced a setback with the failure of two independent resolutions concerning the re-election of directors Mhairi Archibald and Tony Powell, which did not secure the independent shareholders’ majority. In response to the votes, Mountview has pledged to engage with shareholders to address their concerns and plans to hold a follow-up meeting to discuss the reappointment of the contested directors.
