Morinaga Milk Industry Co., Ltd. has announced the acquisition of 647,000 of its own common shares at a cost of 2.26 billion yen, executed through market purchases on the Tokyo Stock Exchange in July 2024. This move is part of a larger board-approved plan to acquire up to 3.4 million shares for a total cost of 10 billion yen, with 1.22 million shares already bought by the end of July.
