Monash IVF Settles Class Action for $56 Million

Monash IVF Group Ltd (AU:MVF) has released an update.

Monash IVF Group Ltd has agreed to a $56 million settlement in a class action lawsuit regarding their non-invasive genetic screening technology, without admitting liability. The company will cover $36.1 million of the settlement using cash reserves and debt facilities, while their insurer will fund approximately $19.9 million. This settlement is expected to result in a $32.6 million post-tax net loss impact for the FY24 financial period.
