Molten Ventures VCT Portfolio Company Acquired

Molten Ventures VCT plc (GB:MVCT) has released an update.

Molten Ventures VCT plc, a venture capital trust focusing on high-growth digital technology investments, has announced that one of its portfolio companies, Endomagnetics Ltd., is being acquired by Hologic Inc. for approximately $310 million. This acquisition, pending regulatory approval, values Molten VCT’s stake in Endomagnetics above its last interim value of £8.69 million. The VCT expects this deal to contribute to its distributable reserves, potentially enhancing shareholder value through dividends and share buybacks.
