Mitsui Fudosan Announces Merger and Company Split

Mitsui Fudosan Logistics Park, Inc. (JP:3471) has released an update.

Mitsui Fudosan Logistics Park Inc. and Advance Logistics Investment Corporation have announced an absorption-type merger scheduled for November 1, 2024, with Mitsui Fudosan being the surviving entity. As part of the arrangement, an absorption-type company split will also occur, leading to a change in the principal shareholder of the asset management company. The merger and company split aim to consolidate asset management services for logistics facilities, with the potential for conflicts of interest to be addressed through the establishment of appropriate information management systems.
