Mitsui Chemicals (JP:4183) has released an update.
Mitsui Chemicals has announced a delay in restarting production at their subsidiary Osaka Petrochemical Industries’ ethylene plant due to a failure in the steam supply system. The restart, following scheduled maintenance since June 2024, may take an additional two to three months. The company is assessing the potential impact of this delay on their consolidated financial results for fiscal year 2024.
