Mitsubishi Pencil Company, Limited is set to expand its international presence by establishing a joint venture in India, named unilinc Private Limited, with LINC LIMITED, aiming to strengthen its market share and brand recognition in the Indian economy. The venture, which is part of their Medium-term Business Plan 2022-2024 and aligns with their long-term Vision 2036, will focus on local production to enhance their supply chain and procurement of raw materials. The new subsidiary is expected to commence operations in July 2025, with Mitsubishi holding a 51% investment stake.
