Mink Ventures Corp. ( (TSE:MINK) ) has issued an update.
Mink Ventures has completed a 549-meter vertical drill hole at its Montcalm nickel-copper-cobalt project near Timmins, targeting a deep 3D Borehole Induced Polarization anomaly supported by airborne VTEM, gravity and magnetic data. The hole intersected the target at about 500 meters depth but was partially obscured by a diabase dyke, leaving much of the large conductive zone unexplained and preserving its potential as a significant deep Ni-Cu-Co target.
The company plans a follow-up wedge drill hole from the existing pilot hole, potentially aided by additional downhole geophysics to better define the target before drilling. Mink also wrapped up an eight-hole drill program at its Warren project in February to test the A Zone and D Zone nickel-copper-cobalt occurrences, with assay results pending, signaling an active exploration phase across both of its Ontario critical-mineral properties.
