An update from Uvre Ltd. ( (AU:MEX) ) is now available.
Minerals Exploration Limited reported that initial diamond drilling at the Scotia prospect within its Waitekauri Gold Project has intersected broad zones of gold mineralisation in oxidised and altered dacite, indicating a large mineralised system. Follow-up work will target a potential feeder structure at depth or along strike, while additional drilling is planned at Scotia South and other nearby prospects to firm up the project’s resource potential.
At the nearby Jubilee Gold Project, the company has completed four diamond drill holes and continues drilling to test down-dip and along-strike extensions of historically mined high-grade ore shoots, supported by rock chip assays up to 68.8 grams per tonne of gold. In Otago, Minerals Exploration is advancing its Invincible Gold-Tungsten Project, lodging an exploration permit application and reporting rock chip samples up to 49.7 grams per tonne of gold, as it builds a structural and geological framework to define drill targets that could enhance its exposure to both gold and tungsten.
