Minera Alamos Inc. has announced a strategic merger between its subsidiary Cobre and Minera Gold Copper, granting them collective ownership of the promising Suaqui Verde copper project in Sonora, Mexico. This acquisition integrates with Minera’s existing copper projects to potentially establish a regional copper production hub. The Suaqui Verde project boasts a significant historical copper resource and is positioned for development as a low-cost, open-pit copper mine, with Minera aiming to update historical exploration data to current standards.
