MinebeaMitsumi’s subsidiary, ABLIC Inc., has completed the acquisition of Socionext’s medical-related business, focusing on handheld ultrasound diagnostic equipment. This move aims to strengthen ABLIC’s position in the analog semiconductor market by combining its transmission technology with Socionext’s receiving technology. The transaction is expected to create significant synergies and help achieve a sales target of 200 billion yen by 2029.
