Midland Exploration has launched a significant Sonic drilling program on its fully owned Patris gold property near Rouyn-Noranda, Quebec, with 40 holes already completed and 60 more planned. The property, spanning 117 square kilometers, is strategically located near a historic mining camp and is known for notable faults and historical gold showings. Through an option agreement, Barrick could earn up to a 75% interest in the property by investing over C$16 million in exploration and making cash payments within eight years.
