Midland Exploration has expanded its lithium venture by amending an option agreement with Rio Tinto, adding the promising Wookie project in Quebec’s lithium-rich Eeyou Istchee James Bay area. The deal, encompassing 11 projects over 1,139 square kilometers, allows Rio Tinto to potentially increase its stake up to 70% in the properties through additional investments and cash payments. This strategic move capitalizes on the region’s geological potential, home to several key lithium deposits.
