Middle Island Resources Limited has completed the first phase of exploration drilling at the Barkly Copper-Gold Super Project, with some indications of mineralization. Early drilling results at the Pebbles and Dino prospects have revealed base metal sulphides and ‘redrock’ alteration, suggesting potential for further discoveries. Unexpected geological issues halted drilling at the Wilma prospect, with final assay results expected in two months.
