An announcement from Wizz Air Holdings ( (GB:WIZZ) ) is now available.
Wizz Air Holdings, the European low-cost airline, has warned that ongoing disruption in the Middle East and related macroeconomic pressures are set to weigh heavily on its current financial year. The group, which serves multiple markets across Europe and selected Middle Eastern destinations, is particularly exposed through its network adjustments and cost base.
The airline estimates the current crisis in the Middle East will reduce fiscal 2026 net profit by about €50 million, driven one third by suspended services to the region and the remainder by adverse movements in jet fuel prices and the US dollar/euro exchange rate. As a result, Wizz Air now expects net profit to fall below its earlier guidance range of plus €25 million to minus €25 million for fiscal 2026, and plans to update investors further when it reports full-year results in June.
The most recent analyst rating on (GB:WIZZ) stock is a Buy with a £1261.00 price target. To see the full list of analyst forecasts on Wizz Air Holdings stock, see the GB:WIZZ Stock Forecast page.
Spark’s Take on GB:WIZZ Stock
According to Spark, TipRanks’ AI Analyst, GB:WIZZ is a Outperform.
The score is driven primarily by a recovering financial profile with notably stronger cash generation, supported by strong technical momentum and a low P/E valuation. Offsetting factors are the still-leveraged balance sheet and earnings-call risks around unit revenue pressure, rising costs, and execution/timing uncertainty during the fleet transition.
