Miata Metals Expands with 79North Acquisition

79North (TSE:JQ) has released an update.

Miata Metals Corp. has signed a definitive agreement to acquire 79North Inc., securing the latter’s two promising gold properties in Suriname. This strategic move diversifies Miata’s asset base and strengthens its position in South America’s under-explored but gold-rich Marowijne Greenstone Belt. The all-share transaction, valued at approximately $4 million, will result in 79North shareholders owning about 21.2% of the merged entity.
